Proxmox VE (Proxmox Virtual Environment; PVE for short) is an open-source virtualisation platform based on Debian GNU/Linux. PVE supports both the operation of traditional virtual machines using Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) and the operation of containers based on Linux Containers (LXC). PVE provides a user-friendly web interface for managing the system.
